Description
This 2d mixed media artwork is created with multiple layers. The canvas is wrapped with black velvet ribbon around the edges. The background is grey handmade paper with metallic silver brushstrokes. The cardinal's wings and beak are collage and the rest of the bird is created with acrylic paint. The branch, which wraps over the velvet ribbon edge, is created with 3 types of handmade paper and layered with mica flakes.
