This 2d mixed media artwork is created with multiple layers. The canvas is wrapped with black velvet ribbon around the edges of the canvas. The background is handmade paper. The raven’s wing is collaged text; the remainder of the bird is created with acrylic paint.
About Jacqueline Bevan
As an artist I find inspiration from nature, its beauty is never ending. Just like original artwork, no two are ever the same. . .constant variances, constant evolution. Over the years I’ve worked with many different media, always focusing on color and texture to develop richness and depth. I love experimenting with new techniques and materials to constantly challenge myself. My 2-D mixed media artwork is comprised of collage and acrylic paint.
