Artist's Description
This 2d mixed media artwork is created with multiple layers. The 16 x 20 inch canvas is wrapped with black velvet ribbon around the edges of the 2 inch deep canvas. The background is handmade paper. The monarch's body is collage; the remainder of the butterfly is created with acrylic paint.
About Jacqueline Bevan
As an artist I find inspiration from nature, its beauty is never ending. Just like original artwork, no two are ever the same. . .constant variances, constant evolution.
